Rijksmuseum van Oudheden
Rijksmuseum van Oudheden is the national archaeological museum of Netherlands located in Leiden. The collection of the museum includes more than 80,000 objects. The Rijksmuseum grew out of the collections of the Leiden University and still they are closely cooperating with its faculty of archaeology. The collection began with an inheritance of 150 Greek and roman statues. It is the national center for archaeology and it focuses on ancient Egypt, Greece, Etruria, Rome and early Netherlands. Different types of jewelry are available from different cultures. The Egyptian earrings made of lapis lazuli, small silver Egyptian figurines, gold plated ankh earrings, Greek bracelet, roman necklace and even more of collections.
