JaKob Bengel produces chains and costume jewelry since 1873 and the visitors will make a journey to the times of mechanic production from 1870 – 1990. The typical mid size factory of the former costume jewelry production, the layout of the factory, quarters for the workers are unique in the whole region. Especially, it is preserved in its original construction. Since 2003, art deco jewelry of jakob bengel of 20’s and 30’s is reproduced according to their own pattern books with original tools. The jewelry of this style completely experiences a renaissance.

In the factory shop, people can buy the original bengel jewelry besides chains for decoration purposes, necklaces and bracelets at very attractive prices. Due to huge demand for jakob bengel jewelry, the production of the foundation, the art deco collection from the years 1928 to 1935 has resumed. The jakob bengel jewelry is made with original tools and working methods of the time. Each piece of jewelry is punched and certified and the art pieces are made of plastics.
