Asian art museum of San Francisco has most comprehensive collection of Asian art in the world. The museum located in San Francisco California United States devoted exclusively for Asian art with a collection of over 17,000 artworks spanning 6,000 years old. Major galleries include arts of India, china, western Asia including Persia, south East Asia, Korea and Japan and 2,500 works are on display under permanent collections.
Asian art museum is a public institution whose mission is to lead a diverse global audience in discovering unique material, aesthetic and intellectual achievements of Asian art and culture. Brundage donated more than 7,700 Asian art objects to San Francisco, over half of the current collection of the museum. In 1996, the museum chose famous Italian architect Gae Aulenti who specializes in the adaptive reuse of historic structures in to museum.

Children 12 and under and SFUSD students with ID: Free
Members: Asian Art Museum Members always receive free admission.
